Welcome to OneHome. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using OneHome, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
OneHome is a mobile application that helps homeowners organize and manage their home services. Features include:
- Searching for local service providers
- Logging and tracking home service history
- Scheduling service reminders
- Sharing home information with household members
- Tracking home-related spending
3. Account Registration
To use OneHome, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Free Tier: Basic features are available for free with limitations on the number of homes and features accessible.
Premium Subscription: Unlocks unlimited homes, advanced features, and removes restrictions. Subscriptions are billed through Apple and are subject to Apple's terms.
Household Plan: Allows sharing premium access with up to 3 additional household members.
Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.
5. Household Sharing
If you subscribe to the Household plan:
- You can invite up to 3 members to share premium access
- Members you invite will have access to shared home information and service records
- You are responsible for who you invite to your household
- You can remove members or delete the household at any time
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create in OneHome (service logs, notes, photos). By using the service, you grant us a license to store and display this content to provide our services.
You agree not to upload content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Infringing on others' intellectual property rights
- Malicious software or code
7. Third-Party Services
OneHome displays information from third-party sources, including Google Places. We do not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Service provider ratings, reviews, and contact information are provided by third parties and may change.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
OneHome is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Service provider information is accurate or up-to-date
- Any service provider you find through the app will meet your expectations
We are not responsible for the quality of work performed by service providers you find through the app.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneHome and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
